Texas Pneumatic Systems, Inc. was established in 1994, when the founders recognized a need for a pneumatic repair and overhaul station that could deliver three distinct benefits - superior quality, quick turn around and cost effectiveness. The company contracted the James A. Staley Company to design and build state-of-the-art testing equipment that would use computerized process controls wherever practical. The resulting test facility meets all the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements for pneumatic valves, starters, air cycle machines (ACMs), cooling turbines and pneumatic drive units (PDUs).

In 1999, a second company, Turbine Fuel Systems, Inc., was formed to specialize in the repair and overhaul of fuel components for the commercial airline industry worldwide. Once again, the James A. Staley Company was contracted to design and build the sophisticated test equipment. This advanced facility meets all of the OEM requirements for testing fuel valves, submersible pumps, engine-driven pumps, boost pumps and auxiliary power units (APU) fuel controls. Today, the two companies, located a few miles apart from each other, operate independently but share many infrastructure resources and a common vision of maintaining superior service for each of our customers. As a result, we're saving the airlines money, time and hassle, while providing the same service and products as the OEMs.
